Strength

A woman gently closes a lion’s jaws, an infinity sign above her head and flowers at her waist.
Keywords: gentle strength, courage, patience, compassion
Upright: energy in motion
Real strength is calm. Softness and steady courage can tame what force cannot. Read this as a possibility rather than a promise. Ask where this quality is already visible, what supports it, and what an appropriately sized next action would be.
Reversed: energy asking for attention
Self-doubt or a temper that slips its lead. Be kind to yourself as you regather courage. A reversal does not automatically mean disaster. It can point to delay, excess, avoidance, inward expression, or a strength that needs a healthier boundary.
What wants to move
This card is not a label placed on you. It is a way to notice what feeds the present situation, what wants to move, and where too much or too little is creating friction.
Questions to carry
- Where is the clearest expression of this card in my present situation?
- What am I treating as fixed that may still be responsive?
- What would balance look like in one observable action?
- Which part of the message does not fit—and what does that tell me?
A grounded practice
Write one sentence that begins “Right now I notice…” and a second that begins “The next kind step is…”. Keep the language concrete. The card is useful when it returns agency to you, not when it replaces judgment.
